Taylor Swift (born December 13, 1989 in Pennsylvania, United States) is an American pop and country singer-songwriter, music producer, actress, and philanthropist.

Her mother, Andrea Finlay Swift, was a marketing director for mutual funds before she became a homemaker. Andrea spent the first ten years of her life in Singapore, and has since lived in Texas. Her father became an oil well engineer in Southeast Asia. Taylor has a younger brother, Austin Kingsley Swift, who graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2015. In December 2014, Andrea was diagnosed with cancer. Taylor is also the godmother of Jamie King’s son, Leo Thames.
